Nice colouring on this, slightly white snowwy effect in the glaze, or maybe it's just thinner, around the base and on the top edge around the spout, which by the way, is a lovely soft rounded one. Hope I have this in the right catagory Ev. sunny

Found this jug - 6074 Creamer in an old 1988 Crown Lynn Tableware Catalogue
This shape creamer goes with the Modello Collection:
Verona
Milano
Nouveau
Florence
Trieste
Taranto
Venice
Going by the Catalogue I would say that it was made at New Lynn with the majority of the Tableware?
Only thing is I don't know which pattern the black creamer belongs to scratch

A Nouveau auction on ebay made me think of your jug !

Verona - not sure....?
Milano - black with white speckles .... so it could belong to this one!
Nouveau is white with black speckles plus black coffee cans ...... it could belong to this one!
Florence - yellow with black dots on rim ....?
Trieste - white with a blue pattern..... so not this.
Taranto - white with a grey band..... not this either.
Venice - white with a pink band....... and not this.

Well that narrows it down a bit Very Happy
Both Milano and Nouveau are very collectable so I must add them to the Top 40 collectable patterns!

Thanks for all your work on this Ev. I am not sure I would describe the white as 'speckles' though, it is so fine. It is almost as if someone was spraypainting nearby, and the faintest hint of drift has caught the bottom or that it as a slight dusting of talcum powder. It is not on top of the glaze however, but looks more like it is an inclusion in the glaze if you know what I mean. I'm not sure whether the photo really shows it well, and a close-up didn't work for the camera. The better way to describe it may be that it looks like an element of the glaze has a slight glint to it, and this has shown through on the base and top edge. Ok, I've finished waffling now Smile

Take a look at the ebay auction that made me think of your jug ...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Notice that the handle shape on your jug and the coffee can match.
I think you were right first time when you said that the glaze was too thin re the colour variation .... Smile

Hi minz, you can send a pic to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and I can load it for you if you like.
The sugar bowl is part of the 36 piece dinnerset which sold for $195 in 1988.
The 20 piece set without the extras sold for $109.
The sugar bowl has a shape number 914 and the lid is 914/1.
I do like the strappy little perky handle on the lid Smile
