Hi Jonno,
I wish the number was clear - may have to wait for another to surface.
We don't have the green Albany in the Gallery so I will put it in when I get a chance.
The Database has four listings for Albany :
Albany 541
Albany Brown 201
Albany Green 199
Albany Oyster 206

None of these numbers seem to match up with your number Jonno, but maybe somebody else can read it better than my old eyes!

Yes!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
With help of all the magnifiers at my disposal and the bright sunny day I can confirm that the number is

D238. Albany printed in green.

In addition I see that the same design almost exactly the same green is Kismet in the gallery. I noted that on the Kismet site as an edit.

I have just picked up a D.206 bowl, Albany Oyster, (which I was going to describe as 'olive' til I saw it listed here) can put a pic up later if you'd like.

Ev.. In answer to your question...The brown ones I have, do have 206 as the back-stamp, that's where the confusion sets in !!
