From Billy Apple's collection in the Crown Lynn: Pottery for the People Exhibition at the Gus Fisher Gallery, Auckland.

Is this pattern Laguna d434 designed by Dorothy Thorpe for Crown Lynn? Laguna10

Can someone please confirm that this is indeed Laguna ?
Edits:
I've just found Santa Barbara in Val Monk's book and it looks the same as the photo above ...
I thought that Santa Barbara was that vivid yellow pattern and we already have that in the Gallery!
So what does Laguna look like ....? Obviously I don't know my Dot Thorpe Razz

I don't know what laguna looks like but have these pics of a cup and jug lifted from trademe, it seems to be a violet shade. Is this pattern Laguna d434 designed by Dorothy Thorpe for Crown Lynn? Laguna10Is this pattern Laguna d434 designed by Dorothy Thorpe for Crown Lynn? Laguna11
Similarly lifted, a pic of a Santa Barbara cup, I love it and would dearly love one myself! Is this pattern Laguna d434 designed by Dorothy Thorpe for Crown Lynn? Santa_12Is this pattern Laguna d434 designed by Dorothy Thorpe for Crown Lynn? Santa_13

Billy Apple had Laguna in his collection at the Exhibition ...
The photo I first put on matches your pattern Marl, but the colours are not the same.
The notes from the Wellington Exhibition say Laguna (pale lavender and pale green).
I must note what the notes say for Santa Barbara (pink and gold; primrose and bold yellow).
Perhaps I didn't get a pic, though I have Santa Barbara, Monterrey and Brocade.
Hopefully mrnarna has a pic of it! This is driving me nuts as the www has nothing that I could find.
I may have to go back to the Exhibition to nut this one out ...... heheee it will be a good excuse Wink
Perhaps I should add my pic to the Santa Barbara topic?

Thank you - I've put one cup in the Patterns Gallery until we have a photo of the pattern.
