Tiki backstamp
A quick question. If an item is marked with the Tiki and three stars backstamp, does that mean that it doesn't have a shape number?

Re: Tiki backstamp
What the tiki backstamp means is that the piece was made between 1945 - 1955.
So made very early and many pieces back then didn't have shape numbers.
I can't think of anything that has the tiki backstamp and a number as well - you may be spot on!
I can think of pieces with shape numbers that also have the Made in NZ in a circle backstamp
1945 - 1950 era.
Maybe someone else can help?

Re: Tiki backstamp
Heather is correct as I saw a 170 swan listed today with the number and the tiki and three stars stamp.

and I saw this swan, but perhaps not so common on other items. Thanks for your help once again!
