Crown Lynn 2082

I have bought this vase, the number is unreadable, basically looks and feels like only 3 numbers but could be four, advertised as 2052, and looks like the Titian 2083, but has Made in New Zealand around the base.

Any help appreciated. Really lovely vase in cream with a light speckle. Thank s

Congrats - I've always liked that shape.
I got that vase and number from a listing of Manos's.
ynotbrich knows her Crown Lynn shapes, so I googled both numbers ....
and now wonder if that shape comes in 2 sizes?

Thanks Ev, so is 2083 different again? I have decided to collect some CL vases and put away for my daughter, so that when she is older she has some really nice pieces as a kind of legacy.

I realised that I hadn't checked if there were any measurements and after doing so found :
2052 = 22cm high
2083 = 27.5cm high
So there must be two sizes for the same shape.
Hopefully Heather can confirm this with the CL notes from the Museum.

2052 is a "lipped oblong" made in Christchurch (Luke Adams) in 1969

2083 is a "large narrow urn vase handled" made in 1971 in the titian factory

A 'lipped oblong' doesn't sound like the elegant vase does it?

I emailed ynotbrich and she rang me and said that the number might be 2082.
She has a photo on file of that vase with that number and it does make more sense.
So hopefully Heather will check out that number for us......

Here is my 22cm high beauty!

Yay at last I found one of these vases!!  
I haven't measured it yet but it's very tall and elegant.  Can't even read the Made In New Zealand on the base let alone the number, because the glaze is so thick, which is probably why it was cheap

Woooo Hooooo it is 27.5cm high so it's the big 2083
