Mug 1043 Shipping Corp Crown Lynn
Hi Ev, this mug 1043 which is on the first page of the site with blue and red Koru marking is actually from the Shipping Corporation of New Zealand. My husband is an ex ships officer and recognised the logo. He has a mug with the same marking by Richmond Pottery. Cheers, marl

That mug didn't fit into the Gallery ... it stood out like a sore thumb, so I will delete it for now.

I am sure this is a Crown Lynn mug, the one we have has the same logo, but is a Richmond one, different shape. I have seen CL mugs in this shape. Please put it back, sorry if I confused you, cheers, marl

re Mug 1043 made atTitian
In the process of getting my files and photos back in order I noticed that the 1043 mug that is my must have mug for my morning cuppa (or 2 or 3) as presently shown in the gallery is a Shipping Corp version. Doesn't seem to do the lovely sensous shape justice . This version may be considered more suitable.

Thanks Jonno, perhaps I should put the 1043 in the Gallery into the Monogrammed section.

Many thanks, had asked the other day on the Q and A page about this emblem, and the shape I hadn't recognised only to find another one in a speckled dark mustard colour which I haven't seen in CL before. Am i to believe it is, based on the numbering being the same?? They really are a lovely shape!

Yes it's Crown Lynn Shape 1043 and the logo is that of the Shipping Corporation.
