New Zealand Pottery - Commercial and Collectable by Gail Henry
This book covers nearly all of New Zealand's Commercial Pottery history and is very extensive.
At 270 pages of information and photos it is a fantastic resource for anyone wanting to research our early pottery makers who made the most amazing pottery. The first Edition was printed in 1985 and has a photo of an old Crown Lynn railway cup and saucer on the cover, the photo below is the cover of the 2nd Edition which was printed in 1999.

Does anyone have a copy of the First Edition?
A photo of that cover would be great too

Yes, Gail Lambert is the 1st Edition - published in 1985.
Gail Henry is the 2nd Edition - published in 1999.
Apparently there are a few changes and updates and some photos differ.
I have the 2nd Edition and find it invaluable.

so are they two different people or did Gail Lambert have a name change? Curious :-) I guess Gail is not an uncommon name

Great stuff sunshine
There have been some good buy now prices around lately!
There is too much info to absorb in one reading, but it's always by my side for constant reference !!
