Hand Ceramics Putaruru
I've noticed an auction of a piece of Putaruru Ceramics that is the exact same shape as the Crown Lynn 314 and 315. I've asked the trader if there are any stamps, numbers extra on the base and they replied 'Just the normal Hand Ceramics Putaruru.' Does anyone know anything about Putaruru Ceramics? I've seen listings on TradeMe, but that's about all ....... I want to know more now!

Re: Hand Ceramics Putaruru
The vase arrived and it's terrific and I'm delighted with it!
It's a bright mustard colour and stands 10 and a half inches tall.
On the base is stamped Hand Ceramics Putaruru.
It is a replica of the Crown Lynn 315 vase, although their one is 12 inches tall.
Photos to come when I'm not so tied up.

Putaruro Mug
Red Cross op-shop buy. I'd looked at this simple mug a few times and didn't know what to make of it. One Saturday Val was there too. She advised me that it is Putaruru. So I spent my dollar.
100mm H, 75mm W, 65mm at lip.
There is something buried in the glaze underneath but I sure can't read it.

Vase
Vase by Hand Ceramics Putaruru.
I had to white out the background to bring the colour close to true.
Sort of brown-green, a bit like cowpat.
200mm H x 55 OD top x 80 OD base
