Any ideas on these ?
I have to clear some of my pottery out says hubby, no room. Can anyone help with these marks ?
And the pieces ...
I was wondering if #2 was Carl Vendelbosch? Hoping I can keep a couple of my favourites in this lot, esp the ribbed jug.

Re: Any ideas on these ?
I will enjoy checking out these marks mumof1
Yes No2 is definitely Carl Vendelbosch ....
nothing else jumps out at me .. though there are many familiar looking marks ...
so I will have to do some research and get back to you.

Re: Any ideas on these ?
Do you mean Royce McGlashen? His 'bow' mark in the book is even, and this looks more like an M and is an uneven bow shape. I am pleased to find the maker of another one though, Thank you!
I should mention too, that #8 is a picture of a mark at the base of the handle, and may not be the potters mark, in which case I will probably never find out who made it, unless someone recognises the work. Still really like it though

Re: Any ideas on these ?
Tim is a pottersmarks wizard
Here is a link to Royce's drawings of his marks from nzpotters.com website ....
A great online resource since there isn't a Potters Marks site anymore. http://www.nzpotters.com/PottersMarks/PottersMark_Image.cfm?potterID=167
I meant to ask what part of the country do you hail from mumof1 ....?

Re: Any ideas on these ?
They are the same mark sunny. I will add the bigger one into the Gallery. So would the fancy R also be one of Royce's marks? Was it on the same bowl? For some reason I thought that mark would be in the Gallery as it was identified .....
Re: Any ideas on these ?
The fancy R is in the centre of the bowl, and I assumed, was the insignia of whoever the bowl was made for - possibly the Chemists Guild or the Rutherford Hotel, here in Nelson.

Thanks as I didn't know if it was in the Mystery Marks or not, or how to find it.
