Len Castle new book
So a new Len Castle book is coming out soon. Hardback, full colour, 92 pages. It's a study of abstract patterns in nature. A very limited print run.

Re: Len Castle new book
Sending one to the National Library this week as part of the ISBN requirement. It's been a very successful project, with just 3 copies left. There is another book in the works too, second in the series, also limited to just 20 signed and numbered copies. I have put these books under the umbrella of publisher Alanbrooke Press which reflects the area where the work was done to produce them. It is an exciting time to be doing this sort of thing.

Yes of course, there is a very nice image of a pot which relates really well to the book.

C,mon Tim - stop teasing - what are the books called? What are the publishing details? And who is the mystery man behind them?

Re: Len Castle new book
The first book is called Lichens: abstract patterns in nature. It's a study of lichen patterns mostly in NZ, with an essay on lichens. Len and I worked on it and are the people behind it. But the essay is by Lichen experts in the South Island. All copies are sold now, so its been a successful project. And a great way to learn about book making.
