Don't know the name of that Regal looking pattern... it looks fit for a Queen.
I did see one listed on TradeMe once .... but it didn't have a pattern name.
It's beautiful!!!!!!!

I might put a photo on the CL facebook page as well, they might have some idea. I saw 6 of these plates somewhere ages ago and just had to have them. Never seen any others since. It looks sort of similar to the set made for the queens visit but without a lot of the gold embellishment. There were some examples at the exhibition.

Hi Thelma, Heather and I both agree that this is the exact same pattern as the Queen's /Clark dinner set at the Exhibition...
Re: Can anyone tell me the name of this fine regal looking pattern? ~ includes Regency
I just had a look through the booklet from the exhibition, on the page about the Clark collection is a close up shot of a plate, the design is very similar but the gold pattern on my plates is more scroll work, in the booklet it is a sort of shield and sword design, I should have looked through the book sooner. I only have 6 dinner plates of this and never seen any others remotely like it until I saw the Clark ones. Would be nice if I did have something the same as the Clark set though even if it is impossible.

Just went and got the book so that we could compare the pattern and you are right ... a little bit different .... but totally Royal looking We are going back to the Exhibition today .... it's so awesome, amazing, absolutely stunning!!
Re: Can anyone tell me the name of this fine regal looking pattern? ~ includes Regency
You lucky, lucky people to be able to go a second time, I could have spent all day at the exhibition just studying everything, but my son was making noises about getting back to the car before it got a parking ticket, so had to go. I will say though it was totally worth it going to the first day and hearing the different people talking about their collections. As befits a groupie like me, I even got a few signatures!
Perhaps I might be able to get back to Wellington before it closes......

We are going again today before we leave of course
Trish Clark was excellent recalling memories and was very generous to answer questions at the end of her talk.

Is this regency Pattern?
https://www.newzealandpottery.net/gallery/Crown-Lynn-Tableware-Patterns/Q-R/regency-pic_4057.htm
It looks like the same? Although Regency does have the "coat of arms" in the centre - I have a "blurb" about it from the musuem notes -
Edits to remove pic

All of these regal looking patterns look so similar, but they are all a little different and you can only see this if you blow them up and put them side by side.
We have a cup somewhere with the 'coat of arms' inside, but darned if I can find it.
Was it yours Kat & Co ?

I have a couple of the these with the red/golden rim and pretty flower prints all over the white in the middle. The back stamp on each is Ascot. I think I also have one in green.

I have 3 different patterns, The gold pattern is on the colour & the white on side plate marked Kelston British.
Shape 747 Jug with no stamp only number but looks same gold trim as Thelma's Plate above.
& my fav Tulip Cup...has Regency pattern & NZ coat of arms.
(I think its a 2nd like the 747 jug, they are patchy in places)
Side plate..
Jug shape 747..

Wow!, good to see another piece in the same pattern as my dinner plates. It would be good to see the rest of the newspaper article if possible! Interesting reading at the side there.

more Regency
Regency trio from late-50s-early-60s.
Fine china, earlier 781 tulip shape.
(finer, wider, more handle attachment at top)
Interesting 7 inch B&B.
The patterns on all three are the same,
but look a bit different because it closes up on the flatware.
