An Orzel Mug by Hemara Empty Re: An Orzel Mug by Hemara

Post  Ev Sun 8 Dec - 12:51

Looking around the site to see where Hemara Hemara had worked as a modeller, I came across this mug that Hemara had told John that he made [modelled]
The similarities that many potteries show especially with mugs make me wonder if Hemara is the common denominator.
So far I've found that he worked at Crown Lynn, Titian, Orzel, Aquila, Kiln Craft, Clay Craft, Kermiko, Terra Ceramics and Stewart Potteries. If anyone knows of any more, please add them.

An Orzel Mug by Hemara Empty Re: An Orzel Mug by Hemara

Post  Jeremy Ashford Sun 8 Dec - 13:15

I think there must have been a great community between the pottery workers.
My Clay Craft contact, who I hope to interview next week, remembers Hemara, but there was someone else ("a young guy") modelling there (as well?) at that time.
And her boyfriend worked at Kermiko.

Ev, Do you have any specific questions for me to ask?

Can't think of anything to ask just now Jeremy.
Hemara also made moulds for Christine Harris and Catherine Anselmi if I remember correctly.
