I saw this piece at Galston Pottery today:

I found a pot by STephen and ZOe Carter oday, and was all set to buy i until I noticed that it had a sharp/rough rim. On close inspection, it had been cut somehow and the raw edge painted over. A real shame because it had beautiful glaze and design.

I'm not sure about these pieces, as I have never seen the mark hand incised before. The finish doesn't look right either.
