Agreed bring that on, assuming of course there is space for it.

Owen Salisbury
Has anyone ever seen a photo of Owen Salisbury? I would love to find a photo of him to stand in my Salisbury shelves.

Re: salisbury newcomers
Hi Rocke, Owen Salisbury's son Stewart is a member of the site, perhaps you could PM him. Stewart ran Stewart Pottery Ltd and has put a lot of info on the site.
His username is ppzaz2 and here is a link to one of his posts -

Owen Salisbury
Thanks very much for that Eve. I have sent a message to Stewart.
I just love the early Salisbury Ware and I think that it is a largely unappreciated art form that has a real place in the development of New Zealand pottery. Then of course there is a real link between Amalgamated Potteries and Salisbury Ware because some early patterns are only known from examples of Salisbury Ware!

Re: salisbury newcomers
Good luck Rocke!
There are two early shapes that we don't have photos of yet and I wondered if you would have them in your collection, as more than likely they would have been supplied to Salisbury. They are shape 5 which looks like a bowl from the Sparrow photos and shape 25 which is a vase.
