Re: Is this a Bob Steiner Mark Please?
Frana Stanich worked with Bob Steiner c1991 for a while and was a wonderful decorator.
This isn't a Steiner shape that I'm aware of.
Perhaps Frana was making pottery elsewhere?
It would be interesting to find out.

Re: Is this a Bob Steiner Mark Please?
Yes it does match !!
The stamp says
frana
Handpainted
The word below the mountain could have steiner in it?
Best to ask Bob himself, as this mark doesn't show up on the history blurb on his website.
I will see what I can do.
Edits to add that I have emailed Bob

Re: Is this a Bob Steiner Mark Please?
Thank you Ev. I got out the magnifying glass, as it is difficult to see the wording, but am sure it says Steiner from the tip of the first wave to the dip between 3 + 4. What the rest says is a mystery except for the Made in New Zealand underneath

Re: Is this a Bob Steiner Mark Please?
It took two days for an email to his contact on his website to bounce.
I know he was trying to sell his business, maybe he has?

Re: Is this a Bob Steiner Mark Please?
I sent an e-mail to him this morning, and this was his reply:
"Hey that’s an odd oldy. I don’t remember the volcano stamp. Frana worked for me for a few years when I had a shop in Kingsland. She was responsible for all the hand painting."
Bob
So none the wiser I guess.
** Edits to say l asked for clarification, and the reply was:
All the pots were mine. Frana was the decorator.
This looks like a very early one. We never really used that stamp.
