Mark Cleverley coffee pot
I never expected to see one of these in an opshop .....
But I knew the moment that I saw it that it was a Mark Cleverley masterpiece!!
It's really majestic .... it measures over 33cms!!
Covered with a lovely matt bluey/greeny glaze that reminds me of Ngakura but nicer
There is a pic in Val Monk's book on page 122 and she says that these were made at Luke Adams when they were owned by Crown Lynn. The handle balances to perfection ..... it's so awesomely designed!!
I'm so pleased to have found this piece

Welcome to the site maxine
I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'collections' ....?
Mark Cleverly was a designer at Crown Lynn and won several of their Design Awards before joining the company. One of his designs is called Palm Springs that was part of the Dorothy Thorpe range of dinnerware. Valerie Ringer Monk wrote a book about Crown Lynn called 'Crown Lynn a New Zealand Icon.' there are several references to Mark Cleverly - you will find this at any Library.

Re: Mark Cleverley coffee pot
Two mugs and a sugar bowl to go with the coffee pot in the first post
These are like new and look like they have never been used. The Lucow glaze is so gorgeous, though it is extremely difficult to capture in a photo.
