How do you date your Crown Lynn Pattern?
Hi there,
I have never been in a forum group before...I apologize now if I am in the wrong area for my question.
I buy and sell online after selling my collectables business last November.
I have come across a Crown Lynn dinner set,the cups Sugar Bowl & Milk Jug are a Teal Blue colour...the plates pattern is 'Fabrique'.
I am trying to date the pattern to give accurate description to a potential purchaser...I have photos but do not knwo how I send them here.
Thanks in advance.
Raelene

Re: How do you date your Crown Lynn Pattern?
Hi Raelene and welcome to the site
In the Crown Lynn Patterns Gallery, we have added all of the relevant details to the patterns to date. More info is added as it comes to hand.
https://www.newzealandpottery.net/gallery/Crown-Lynn-Tableware-Patterns-Catalogue/Crown-Lynn-Tableware-Patterns-Catalogue-cat_c25.htm
You will see that Fabrique was first made c1962 and the original worksheet says it has Red 781 cups [Tulips] However I have seen this pattern with many different coloured cups, so perhaps you could choose the colour you preferred at that time
Edits to add that I found an advert saying that you could choose the cup colour to match your decor. So there you go
Enjoy!

Hi Ev,
Thank you for the welcome and the information.
I feel I need more time than I have right now to navigate this site, I clicked on the link and got lost:oops: ...I am not very tech savvy
I am very grateful for you to have given me the date.
Have a great day.
Kind regards,
Raelene

Hi again, the link took you straight to the Patterns Gallery and all of the patterns are in alphabetical order. Try again when you have time. There is nothing complicated, it's just straight forward. Good Luck.
