Hi there,
As a Crown Lynn Researcher, I can tell you that Crown Lynn never made that cup shape.
I don't know who told you that it was a sample set, but perhaps you could ask them for more information.
Perhaps this set was purchased overseas as a sample set?
I will use Google Lens to see if I can find the maker.
