I just managed to break a last of the set beloved saucer, so I thought I’d ask on here if anybody knows what it is, I’d like to find some more.

No makers mark, a friend who’s into pottery once said it might be American diner-ware.

Cheers

Yes it looks like Crown Lynn.

Do you have a cup that goes with it,so that we can identify what pattern it belongs to?

Unfortunately no cup. But they work well with the stackable hotel cups (which I’m also interested in buying)

The saucer is earthenware and there are plenty of earthenware can shaped cups around that you could use on the saucer.
The cup you are showing is vitrified and doesn't go with that saucer, even though it fits.
Then again you do what you see fit, as I'm a nerd when it comes to Crown Lynn Razz

Hehe. Yes well, I just like these stackable cups so much, and also these saucers, these are the last of a bunch a bought a long time ago and it’d be nice to find them for sale. I know what the cups are called but not the saucers!!

Your saucer is a Shape 4042 - Rim Saucer first made 15.11.76.
Your cup is a Shape 3622 stacking hotel tea cup first made 24.1.73.
The stacking hotel coffee cup is smaller.

All of the Crown Lynn Shape numbers are in our Crown Lynn Galleries.
I'm a Crown Lynn researcher and my main focus is to add all of the shapes here.

Only members can see the Galleries and Google isn't a member Razz
