Is this large jug NZ pottery
Large jug, 23.5 cm high, 16cm at its widest poin.
No potters marks although there are two distinctive “eyes” for want of a better description on each side of the spout on the rim of the jug.
A nice looking piece with appealing run of glaze down one side.
This is another donated piece to the charity I work for and endeavor to identify unusual items. Any help please to identify is appreciated. Cheers

Re: Is this large jug NZ pottery
This is a glorious jug
Made by an excellent potter and salt glazed
The eyes on either side of the spout were made popular by Barry Brickell, however this jug wasn't made by him as he didn't run the handle off the top like that.
You won't have any problem selling this piece, even though you don't have a maker!
Good luck !!

Hi. The jug is without a doubt Andrew Van Der Putten's. I have similar pots by Andrew and he puts 'eyes' on quite a bit of his work. A great collecters pot
