This beauty has all of the looks as being made in some European country.
Tin glaze with perfect decoration points in that direction to me.
I will do a Google Lens search and see what turns up.

Edits to add that there were no matches, but lots of similar Italian, Turkish and Chinese jars turned up. I don't think it was made in NZ.
