728 shape
Was just looking at this TM listing www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/pottery-glass/porcelain-pottery/crown-lynn/cups-saucers/listing/4137900717?bof=5qfgN4jb
and thought yep, the 728 from Capri range. Doubled checked in gallery and noticed the other 728 as well. Have I missed something Ev or did they double up with this number?

Re: 728 shape
Hi there, 728 was used for two shapes.
The earlier one was the child's cup.
When it was not in production anymore the number was used again later.
I get all of my information from researching old records and add it all to the site
This doesn't happen very often, as they usually gave a new shape a new number.
Intriguing isn't it

Thanks Ev. Intriguing indeed. CL always full of surprises and it's so great that you have the records to confirm.

Re: 728 shape
I don't leave anything to chance or supposition, all of the info added has to be correct.
I have spent years researching records and it's incredible how many there are, even though I often read that all of the records went up in flames.
I don't think the ones that say that have bothered to look !
I have loved the journey Though covid halted me in my tracks and I haven't got back into it since then. I do have mountains of records in my files that I use most days though.
