This Plaque was made in the 1940's and I guessed that era when I first saw it, but couldn't name the pottery.  However I can now as the clay and the style fit Spartan.
This has been made using a jigger or a jolly and has a professional finish to it.
Salisbury has painted it and popped a transfer on it and it would have had a ready market.
