A freak 'secret' fault line.... centred near Darfield.... 10 kms down ...
devastating parts of Christchurch and even buildings as far away as Temuka!
I read that a Stevens shop in Christchurch were filling a big-bin with broken wares...
I guess there will be a mountain of broken pottery to get rid of .... oh dear Neutral
At least there were no loss of lives to speak of .... amazing really!

I've read many reports about all of the broken pottery collections in Christchurch,
but these photos from the NZ Potters site really hit home!
No wonder there is a great demand for Museum Wax at the moment!!
