Stepa Swans are all the rage!!!

Many thanks to Phattycar for letting us use her photos that compare the Stepa swans with the Crown Lynn Baby.  

These swans are being promoted as made using the Crown Lynn moulds, but if they are quite bigger than the Crown Lynn Babies then they can't be made from the same mould dammit!! Perhaps the moulds are from the Studio Ceramics Swans?

I do know that Matt Nesbit of Stepa Ceramics bought the Retro Vase Moulds that Studio Ceramics used when they closed down.  He didn't buy the Crown Lynn moulds when they closed!

I have seen several of these Studio Ceramic Vase reproductions that are not even marked lately and that makes me quite angry, as Studio Ceramics marked theirs as did CLynn.

At least these Baby Swans are marked, even though it's a bit overkill as far as I'm concerned.
