Excuse me Jeremy, is there any chance that you can get this photo to show somewhere?  It's the last photo that I need to reload and I can't see what it is and as it has had 946 views I want to reload it!

Ev,
I've done it!

My method follows, then the photo.

You may recall we lost a lot of nrnarna's photos well before the recent crash so this might be one of those.

It was an imageshack photo so that is likely the case.

FYI the image description (thankfully mrnarna named his pic sensibly) is "crownwithaneight.jpg", so presumably it's just the backstamp photo.

(The ? icon appeared in the topic on the iPad, but not on the computer: I used "quote" to find out the image name.)

Yup, it comes up on this google image search:

"crown lynn new zealand vitrified" crownwithaneight.jpg mrnarna site:newzealandpottery.forumotion.net

I saved from google and reloaded with servimg.

Crown Lynn New Zealand Vitrified 810

Are there any others need this treatment, Ev?
(Eg: any of narna's missing pics.)

Wow! It's great to see that backstamps gallery intact. Glad to have been a help even if it wasn't til the last picture!

Unfortunately the "vitrified" stamp is not what I was hoping for, as a match for my Refreshment Rooms 10 cup.

I should be receiving my three broken NZR cups tomorrow so I'm looking forward to seeing what backstamp the Refreshment Rooms one has. Probably English, but you never know.

I'm pretty sure the other two will be "Temuka Ware" and CL 48-50 or CL star and Crown.

The Temuka has a crack and chip which are to some extent repairable. The others are missing handles.

(It is theoretically possible to make moulds from other cups and form handles in "knead it" if I can be bothered, for a museum-style restoration.)
