Large Jack Laird Hawk / Falcon
I wanted to share this to any Waimea Pottery fans
I am a collector of various items ( and also dabled in freehand pottery for a short time , just for a bit of fun , so have a liking of certain types of pottery )
In my travels I found a large Jack Laird piece which I think is either a Falcon or Hawk
It has Jack Laird inscribed on the base and stands approx 380 mm high
I will admit that when I saw it from a distance I thought it was a Jim Beam decanter as the finish is amazing and was amazed to see the name on the base .
Hopefully I have posted this in the right section and also that I have worked out the upload process and the pics come through
