Oh my that bowl is fabulous !!

I feel I should know the potters that made that mark, but it won't come to me.

Hi there, the Ferret suggests that this is the mark of Hugh Prosser.

Hugh passed away a few years ago and was Fiona Tunnicliff's husband. Perhaps you could contact her to confirm.

Sometimes his stamp is abbreviated like this and other times the P Winspear is quite obvious. Also check out the bowls from Mike below.

Oh yes the pots that Mike has are the same style and glaze.

Thank you Truffles as this bowl would definitely be by Paul Winspear.

I've seen a variety of squiggley marks on work he has made in the past.
