Discovery - Helen Johnson
Browsing for NZ potters, I stumbled on The New Zealand Potter No. 1 1988 and on p.34-35, I discovered a familiar "face" so to speak: the work of Peter Oxborough's wife, Helen Johnson. As a Kiwi living in Montreal, Canada, I was delighted to put a name to a little pot I'd inherited from my mother many years ago. Although the mark is more or less absent, it is unmistakably her work. It's about 13cm high by 5cm. Thanks for enlightening me!
