Any thoughts on this clay inspection pipe from New Lynn?
I bought this recently.Stamped with what looks to be a big letter R and possibly the words New Lynn.Can anybody shed any light on who made this?

I will move this into the Brickmakers topic M.V and hope that one of the members who know about these things will see it. The salt glaze looks like New Lynn to me, but which one? I can't make head nor tail of those markings.
