Re: Royal visit urn from 1963
In the New Zealand Ceramics February 1963 magazine, there is an article about the Queen's visit to Crown Lynn. It only took 36 minutes for her to do a tour of the factory!
The Auckland Museum has a film of this momentous occasion and it is being screened in the Encounter Gallery in the Decorative Arts Exhibition area. It's really brilliant footage and worthwhile viewing.
