Hi Heather
Yes Val has some photos on her blog and in her book of a ribbon lustre teaset.
Different shapes to mine though.
Here is the darling little 757-0 jug ....
and the round bottomed sugar that I don't know the shape number for !
Here they are all together -
All have the Crown Lynn in gold lustre script backstamp which is from 1948 to 1955. The clay has a yellow tinge to it and these have been sitting in a china cabinet since new. The excellent brush work by Doris Bird takes my breath away!!

This glorious set is out on loan as it is getting a new lease of life as a prop in a new recipe book about old recipes.

757-2 Jug
16cmh & well worn from Jim's Collection
I wonder if this went with the bigger size teapot set.

Re: 768 Teapot with ribbon lustre by Doris Bird
The 757 comes in four size 757/0 which is the size of my little one, 757/1, 757/2 and 757/3. I can't find any measurements for these and my one is out on loan so I can't measure it. There is no bigger teapot than the one above that I have, but there is the 777 coffee pot which is quite tall. Maybe there is a ribbon lustre coffee pot out there that went with this big jug? Come to think of it the demi cups that Jeremy posted go with the 777 coffee pot .....
Re: 768 Teapot with ribbon lustre by Doris Bird
Hi - I'm new here and looking forward to exploring.
I have found a teapot that looks identical to those in this thread. But it has SUDLOWS BURSLEM MADE IN ENGLAND 0.657 H on the base. Obviously not Crown Lynn but wondering if any connection or a connection to Doris Bird? Is anyone able to help? Thanks

Hi there and welcome to the site
Doris would have learnt this technique in England where she worked as a decorator. I believe that would have been at the James Sadler pottery in Burslem, Staffordshire. I will try to find out more details, as she is eluding me right now.
