Ernest Shufflebotham
Hello everyone, i thought i would introduce myself first before i make my post below.
I recently discovered the enjoyment of pottery collecting after purchasing some pieces at a charity fundraising auction.
I now have 2 Ernest Shufflebotham pieces ( a #13 and #14 ) that adorn the shelf in my kitchen and i would like to add some more to my small collection.
If any members have pieces that they are thinking of selling then please let me know.
I am interested in any items by ES but particularly keen on adding pieces 5, 15, 24 and 34 from the gallery below:

Re: Ernest Shufflebotham
Hi and Welcome to the Forum HarryPotter
Shufflebotham vases are very sought after and are keenly fought over on Trademe on a regular basis.
There is a listing for a Shape 34 on there at the moment:

Re: Ernest Shufflebotham
Hi Ev, thanks very much for the welcome and also the link to the listing
I have been keeping an eye on TradeMe but hadn't thought of searching using the incorrect spelling of his surname, but i will from now on
There was an awesome one on last week that i missed out on. I asked for a buy now and the seller added one but by the time i got back to my computer some lucky buyer had beaten me to the buy now button. I love the design of the number 15:
There is also a #14 currently on TradeMe that has met reserve which is the same as mine.
I can't post a link to it since i'm a new member but the same seller also has a brown vase from Shufflebotham's design assistant - Mirek Smíšek.
I think i like the shape of the #15 so much because it reminds me of my #14.
All beautiful pieces anyway

Re: Ernest Shufflebotham
Actually I searched Hand Potted in the Crown Lynn category. Let's see if the link I copied will work ...
https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?searchString=hand+potted&type=Search&searchType=7500&user_region=100&user_district=0&rsqid=83047679aac14ea6a71c2d8143b9a659&generalSearch_keypresses=11&generalSearch_suggested=0&generalSearch_suggestedCategory=
Smisek told a member on here that Ernie Shufflebotham made the pots that he decorated ...
check it out here:
