ORZEL lattice pattern
First time poster. Here are a couple of Orzel items I haven't found on the website, all in the lattice (aka basketweave) style.
First up five spice jars. The corks are very 'chunky' and heavily impregnated with the smells of the contents of the jars over the years.

Two jugs. I think it was Jeremy who mentioned the blue glaze but I didn't see a picture anywhere - of course I possibly can't see the wood for the trees, so much to look at. As a total beginner I intially thought MJ was someone's initials, now I know it is simply Milk Jug!
The picture with both jugs was taken with no flash but it did not show the blue colour well (looks very green), the flash brightens it almost too much. I would call it a 'deep sea' kind of blue if that helps.

Re: ORZEL lattice pattern
The blue jug is 11cm tall and the diameter of the base is 9cm. I can't conclusively say the number is 100-3 or 100-2, though I think I would have to go with the latter.

Re: ORZEL lattice pattern
Roodkapje,
Agreed, that blue glaze is absolutely amazing.
I have put a link to this topic on the single spice pot that is in the gallery.
Clicking on the gallery pic takes you to its page where you can find the link below.
Sometimes the search engine does not locate topics that you know are there from the existence of gallery images so I like to make it a bit easier for people to find my full size pictures and explanations, once one of the admins has loaded the wee pic into the gallery.
I think we do have all three jug sizes in the gallery. It is a while since I've looked at my own so I'm working from memory. I have a set of three, the smallest of which is about the size of the coffee cups and I believe should be the number three as the tallest one in the gallery is named "100-1". MJ 100-2 will then be the middle size.
Orzel appears to have been a bit haphazard with numbering and marking, including the designations MJ for milk jug. Some pieces are marked and others not so it is taking us a while to put numbers to shapes.

Re: ORZEL lattice pattern
Jeremy, we don't have the 100 - 3 Lattice Milk Jug in the Gallery yet.
If you can locate yours could you please add a photo. Cheers Ev

Re: ORZEL lattice pattern
There is one pic in the gallery already with two different sized jugs so I'm guessing one is a 2 and the other a 3. If mine had been marked as an MJ I'm pretty I would have posted it as such already. I'll check back over lattice/basketweave posts.

sizes 11cm, 8.5cm, 16cm

The tallest here doesn't look as tall as the 100-1 in the gallery but I'm just wondering if that is because this one is at edge of photo and start stretched out.

Coffee and Tea lattice cannisters
I've found large coffee and tea lattice cannisters (no lids). Would you like photos before I move them on? Is there a sales group for Orzel (on Facebook)? Thank you.

This group is for all of New Zealand Pottery Buying & Selling:

I don't think that they will be sought after without their lids though.
I'm sure we have these in the Orzel Gallery. Thanks though
