Beach Pottery from Sandees' collection.
This is my neighbour Sandees' collection..all hand potted except for one slip cast small brighter orange vase. Lidded jar has the Koru in lid.

Awesome and that lidded jar looks like a Steenstra from here with no throwing rings on the outside and the shape is perfect.

Yum. Would you describe that little corked jar as a spice jar?
Waaaah though. All this interest has one down side. There will now be no more orange ware in any op shops in NZ.

I have this Beach Artware shape in trillions of colors but not orange. Sharon Beach showed Ev and I one in orange, also cast, when we went to see her and her mum.

Sandees' lidded pot after a clean we hadnt noticed it was that bad!
It is interesting that the lid is very finely potted, & the jar a bit heavier.. could Daniel Steenstra have made extra lids.. lids that ended up on other potters jar bodies? just a thought?

they fired the lids separate from the pots. just squeezed in betw pots where there was a space. so quite possibly they got mixed up.
