Orzel beer mug new shape?
I am pretty sure it is made by Orzel and it might be a new shape too.

Methinks could be Stewart
Well, it's certainly a new shape but the question is: "is it Orzel?"
I have many Orzel beer mugs but have not bought any for a while as the variety seems endless and I don't have a bar to keep them in. I have quite a few and may not have posted them all. Val has a ton of them too and may have some not posted as well.
I do not recognise the shape as one I have seen.
I could say better if I had my hands on it but from the pic it looks like it could be Stewart Pottery. The glaze looks like them. They too made quite a few beer mugs.
Kat might have an idea.

Re: Orzel beer mug new shape?
I just had a look at some of the beer mugs on the forum and the Aquila beer mugs have a more speckly glaze.

May be it was made by some other pottery.

Re: Orzel beer mug new shape?
This beer mug was made by Stewart pottery. I think the glaze looks different.

Re: Orzel beer mug new shape?
I agree on the glaze. I think Val's ones are shiny and this one matt (or satin).
Until the beer mug picture is reposted we won't get a "documented" identification, but the Casabella photo Ev re-posted gives you an idea of the matt.
There is a complete Stewart coffee set at Whangarei Hospice shop atm in a similar matt base colour and it was still fresh in my mind when I looked at this. I have a few Stewart pieces and so I also recognise the pinprick glaze holes on the base.
