Enormous quantities of pottery were exported to Australia. This envelope from 1966 was used by Bruce Pie & Sons, a Queensland company.

I'll try and find out whether the envelope was franked for the company or whether Crown Lynn had some relationship with the Post Office. The various Bruce Pie companies seem mainly to have been involved in textile manufacture but one of them was described as an importer.

I was looking at a thesis 'Confronting Design: case studies in the design of ceramics in New Zealand' that quotes Tom Clark as saying that Crown Lynn had about 50 franchise holders in Victoria in 1963.
