I felt ever so lucky to find a fabulous piece made by Wallace Luxton.  The plate has a semi matt dolomite glaze on it that has been high fired and the iron oxide surround rim with just a little decoration is my cup of tea.
Wallace's wife Bev Luxton made the most beautiful porcelain pieces that you could ever imagine and son Phillip Luxton's work was majestic to say the least!
