Re: Milano Burgundy also in Brown and Vanessa d437 ~
No luck with the database, as it doesn't show any wine colour.
There are quite a few Milano colours on there though:
Milano Blue d183
Milano Blue d226
Milano Brown d465
Milano Brown d244
Milano Oyster d466
Milano Tan d468
I will pop this into the No Names Gallery until we come across a name and number for it.

Milano Orange or Tan? Genuine Ironstone backstamp
Hiya.. bought this BB Plate yesterday, to me, its orange in colour, but wonder if its classed as Milano Tan d468 from your list on this thread?
Milano Oyster d466.... I am thinking what colour is oyster? Does anyone know and can liken it to another coloured pattern ( ie. its the same colour as pattern .....)

I'm going to have to put this into the No Names Gallery as Orange or Tan Milano until further info comes to hand.

A research trip to the Museum yesterday turned up Milano Burgundy d24200 in the backstamp file box, so I'm going with this
Milano Brown d224
Hi All
I noticed this image in the "no-names" gallery as Black.. its mine & its Brown.
Milano Brown d224 we have Milano Brown d465 in the gallery already, so I'll move this one over too

Ev...
In the gallery we have Milano Brown 244 but the plate I have is Milano Brown 224 is that a typo?
On the skite site a lady has a set of Milano Tan 468 - we don't have this in the gallery, its an odd one as it has 770 coupe shaped plate/bowl but the 3038 coffee can. Its listed on TM atm, so I will ask her if we can use her photo.
Ill list here, what findings I made from looking at the Museum notes and the forum. The bold ones I think we don't have... can you have a look when you get a chance.
Coupe shape:
Milano Blue 183
Milano Oyster 466 ( this would be nice to find )
Milano Brown 465 ( we have a rimmed version in the gallery not coupe ) I can't find a name and number for the rimmed one - ie Tan version is Vanessa, blue version is Florentine Blue so the brown could be another random pattern name. ??
Mixed 770 coupe and 3038 coffee cans
Milano Tan 468 ( on TM atm)
Rimmed Version ( white rim)
Florentine Blue 284
Milano Blue 226 Rim - on the forum
Both blue and different numbers - whats the difference?,,,, already checked this out

Milano Brown 224 ( the BB of mine) in gallery as 244
Milano Burgundy 24200 - on the forum
Vanessa 437 Tan on white rim using saucer 4029 but the museum notes mentions a 4042 saucer with a brown edge ring (d281)

Hi Janice, my laptop crashed and I won't be able to check this out until I get it back. I hope all of my files are ok
Re: Milano Burgundy also in Brown and Vanessa d437 ~
Oh no... I hope you have not lost anything... I have a few backups if you need anything, but obviously not as much as you have..

Re: Milano Burgundy also in Brown and Vanessa d437 ~
After about a week I have my laptop back and other than losing all my favourites and logins everything else is there Phew !! The first thing I did when I got it back was download all of the Museum files onto a memory stick for safe keeping !!!!
I had already saved that Milano Tan auction to check it out and it is indeed Milano Tan d468 and has the 4029 saucer and Rust 3038 cups. It would be great to get this pattern onto the site and into the Gallery as it's a great looking pattern.
The Vanessa record says that when the 4029 saucer is depleted then to use the 4042 with a Tan ring. We can only work with the info that we have and if it doesn't make sense, well so be it
