A Crown Lynn Bathroom Tumbler & Pen Pot Shape 3621
I need some help with this one please. I am not even 100% sure it is Crown Lynn. It could be a bathroom tumbler, a pen holder, or anything else that one may wish to do with it I suppose. It measures 85mm high and 80mm diameter at the top. I don't recognise the pattern either.
The base is simply stamped New Zealand, no 'Made In' and no number. Hmmmm

hi, I don't know if it will help but this is my bathroom set. In the end I think you will just have to see if your tumbler has a glaze and pattern similar to anything else you have seen.

Multi-purpose tumbler shape?
mumof1,
It's a long time since you started this topic but I don't see an answer here yet.
Jim has a pen pot, similar shape to this, with the words "Pen Pot" on it.
Kat & Co. may have photographed it on Friday.
If she hasn't...
... we'll I have something to drop off at Jim's and can check it out myself.

Jeremy, I have often thought that this is the same shape, but it doesn't have the words 'pen pot', but looks to be the same shape (in my mind), so any info would be appreciated.

are the Tumbler and Pen Pot the same shape?
mumof1,
I have some measurements for you.
This is Jim's Pen Pot.
83mm H x 81 OD top x 72 OD base
I think those measurements are probably the same as yours.

Thanks Jeremy, looks like it may be the same item. My measurements were approximate, I only have a tiny tape measure, and I'm not sure it is entirely accurate.

naked pen pot or bathroom tumbler
Pen pot or bathroom tumbler with clear glaze, no transfers.
Same shape and size as Anne's tumbler (etc).
I have also seen one of these in the plain brown Pioneer glaze.

Thelma's bathroom pot shows up on this page from the Modellers Book I think ...
Large Bathroom Jar 14cm, no number though.

I saw a candle holder in an Op Shop one day identical to that but it had a large crack in it so I didn't bother getting it. I wish I'd taken a photo though, it was lovely. I'm always too chicken to whip out my phone and start snapping photos!

It's good to know that they made that unusual candle holder and we can all look out for it now.

top right ... the small dish that looks like a mini flan dish... I have one of those ( would need to check the diameter but it looks about right) It has no back stamp, so I was unsure if it was Cl or not.
I saw one this week that has the Giftware stamp - so I am now sure the one I have is a crown lynn shape. I will upload photos either later or over the weekend. Unsure what shape number it will be?

Little flan like dish
This is the dish that I thought looked like the one on the top right of the modellers note page, - its way bigger than 6.5 cm .....
6.5 cm is not very big!

Re: A Crown Lynn Bathroom Tumbler & Pen Pot Shape 3621
We don't have this shape in the Four Digit Gallery, so my reckoning tells me it must be one of the later shapes made that we don't have a record of. I must make time to get back to the Portage Museum, but lately other things have been preventing me from going!

I think it's the 3621 Ev.

They had a couple like Anne's one at top in Sallies last month. I bought the undamaged one.

Thanks Jeremy that looks like a match, so we can put this thread to rest now.
Re: A Crown Lynn Bathroom Tumbler & Pen Pot Shape 3621
I found one of these Pen Pots today and was surprised to see that it is vitrified.
Why is it vitrified ???
I read through all of these comments and find that it has been identified as a shape 3621 which is vitrified.
What a bright bunch of enthusiasts are we
