My French Connection
Couple of pieces that we enjoy , the large bowl was bought in NZ but we understand that it is French and was the container for pate's exported to England. Like the colours and the slip decoration. Had two but one didn't survive.
The other duo is a very old French demitasse and a French silver coffee spoon courtesy of our daughter when she lived in the south of France.

re My French Connection
Further to my previous post under this heading here is another French piece that has been hiding under a Crown Lynn bowl, had forgotten that I had it. Also sent from France by my daughter it appears to be a container for foodstuffs and would have had a rubber sealing ring fitted to the groove in the base. The detail in the Lion heads and the knob are beautifully moulded. [/url
