100mm dia X 80mm high with lid. Seal is not the original which may have been a flat rubber to snap into groove in lid. For Instant Coffee perhaps? CL/Titian jar with sealing lid Img_1714

CL/Titian jar with sealing lid Empty Re: CL/Titian jar with sealing lid

The lid looks like an addition that I've never seen before on the 1102 sugar bowl.
The glaze on the lid doesn't appear to match .......... or does it Jonno?

Yes the glaze is slightly lower sheen the the pot but whilst the lid as showing in the photo appears to be a different colour to the main body of the pot the, under side of the lid does match the main colour and near exactly the darker tones near the bottom edge and under the pot. The sizing is spot on.
Did they think that a Coffee jar to go with the sugar basin and the mug might be a good idea.? The lid would not have been a simple piece to make. Is this just another CL mystery that we will never find the answer to?
I only drink black coffee made from freshly ground beans and no sugar.
