paramount art ware

Found a little oblong vase while op-shopping during a trip down south. Has the intact sticker Paramount Art Ware in red, with Styled by British Craftmen N Z made in circle. Vase looks like magnolia flowers coloured pale pink blush with green leaves. Bit of damage to one end but I thought I would "rescue" it anyway. (Might be the last one she thinks!) Will post photo as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks Ev, I have not seen one like this either. It has that faintly pearlescent glaze that Titian used, the photo does not do it justice sorry. No numbers on the bottom, just the sticker. I was so careful not to ruin the sticker when cleaning all the dirt off, used cotton buds to do it. Shame it has chips but they are all at one end and could be repaired I suppose.

and when this happens every time you turn the light on.... it's time for mothballs !!

Looks like you might be right! What a rich glaze, reminds me of BMP.

Yes, there is that vase and these are all together in the gallery, so I will split them up.
