This mug from the US of A was probably a giveaway

This ashtray probably made by Deloriane pottery in Tasmania, Fowler versions also exist, may have been a souvenir or freeby

The childlike handling of this piece reflects the potters age and inexperience

There is also a CLP backstamp 'Rosalie' recorded in Val Monk's book dated to the 1960s. At present there is no connection - the potter who made the dish or float bowl is an 8 year old child in Glebe, nothing is known of the drip glaze piece although it appears to be from the 1950s and is thought to be Australian.
